More proposals than ever are being evaluated at the Bard Center for Entrepreneurship as part of its sixth annual Business Plan Competition. Thirty-nine entrants, a jump of nearly 25 percent over years past, are hoping to be among six finalists who will vie for more than $100,000 in cash and in-kind prizes.
Helping to educate historic preservationists
Historic preservation is big business, as evidenced by the myriad of historic buildings in Colorado that are being restored for new uses. The UCDHSC College of Architecture and Planning and the Department of History in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences are helping to undertake this specialized work by training the next generation of preservationists.
UCDHSC, Centura honor Sister Nancy
University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center (UCDHSC) and Centura Health, Colorado’s largest health care provider, announced an endowed scholarship to honor the legacy of Sister Nancy Hoffman, who was senior vice president of Mission and Ministry at Centura Health from 1996 to January, 2007.

The University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center Web site (http://www.cudenver.edu/) is on the eve of an exciting change. The current Web content management system (CMS) the Web site was built in has become outdated, and as a result, has limited the site’s progression. But not anymore.
